Day 1 – Arrival in |  Negombo

On arrival at the Bandaranayake International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and proceed to the city of Negombo, situated along the coasts, 7km from the airport. Relax and unwind beneath the coconut groves as you enjoy the pristine golden beach, while you savour an authentic Sri Lankan Seafood Cuisine. Thereafter, transfer to your hotel on Bed & Breakfast basis.

Negombo is renowned for its tourism and fishing industry and earned the title ‘Little Rome’ due to several structures within the town, primarily the Roman Catholic Churches, which can be dated back to the Dutch and Portuguese reign of Sri- Lanka.

Day 2 – Travel to | Kandy (102km)

Following an early breakfast, you will be escorted to the sacred city of Kandy. En route, visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, consisting of the largest herd of captive elephants in the world, which offers care and protection whilst providing a breeding ground to the orphaned elephants found within the forests of Sri-Lanka. Thereafter, breathe in the pure aroma of the spices, as you visit the Spice Gardens in Mawanella. Witness the numerous spices that are endemic to the island, and learn how they are grown and harvested.

On Arrival at Kandy, enjoy rest of the day at leisure and transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 3 – City tour | Kandy

Embark on a tour of the city of Kandy after breakfast, the second largest city in Sri- Lanka and a UNESCO world heritage site, due its rich, vibrant culture and history. This historic city was the Royal Capital during the 16th century and maintains its sanctified glory predominantly due to the sacred temples.

Stopover and stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya—a 60-hectare garden with over 4,000 species of plants, a wide range of orchids, herbs and spices, and vibrant hues of flowers be speckled throughout the magnificent Royal Garden.

Thereafter, experience the distinctive, rich culture of the island demonstrated through a Cultural Dance Show, consisting of 12 different traditional dances, and a fire walking the show. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, lined with large processions of devotees seeking the blessings of their Lord. Built in the 16th century, the temple has remained to be the most blessed site for Buddhists of the island as it holds Lord Buddha’s relic—a tooth.

As the night draws to an end, transfer to the selected hotel to spend overnight in Kandy.

Day 4 – Travel to | Nuwara Eliya (78km)

Subsequent to a hearty breakfast, travel through the winding green hills from Kandy to the salubrious, misty hills of Nuwara Eliya a prominent tourist and local holiday destination, assuring you tranquillity and relaxation amidst the exhilarating vista of tea plantations, waterfalls, and lakes. En route, visit a tea factory to witness the tea industry of the island, as Sri- Lanka is one of the largest producers and exporters of tea in the world. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure and transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5 – Travel to | Horton Plains (27km)

Kick start your adventure after an early breakfast, to the Horton Plains National Park, 3,169 hectares of Montane evergreen forests, marshy lands, grasslands, waterfalls, rivers and streams, situated in the central highlands of Sri-Lanka. Horton Plains is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is undoubtedly a nature lover’s paradise, with its rich, unadulterated biodiversity. Bask in the grandeur of the enchanting cloud forest, and be captivated by the sheer beauty of the magnificent Baker’s Falls, as you hike through the winding, rugged pathways of the enticing plateau. The plateau ends at World’s End, an escarpment that plunges 900m, and consists of an exhilarating panorama of the lower lying plains. Retreat to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya, after a tiring day of hiking, for your overnight stay.

Day 6 – Travel to | Ella (50km)

from Nuwara Eliya to Ella for a spellbinding experience, as you are taken around the hills, through the lush, green tea plantations, into the clouds and through the tunnels of the salubrious hill country of Sri-Lanka. The small town of Ella, nestled amidst the green, misty hills, serves as the ideal retreat from your busy lifestyle. Take a hike through Little Adam’s Peak—a popular tourist destination, renowned for its breath-taking vista atop the mountain. Subsequently, visit the magnificent waterfall — Ravana Falls, a popular local and tourist attraction.

Thereafter transfer to your 3 stars (or similar standard) hotel for your overnight stay at Ella.

Day 7 – Travel to | Ahungala (245km)

Proceed to the small coastal town of Ahungalla post breakfast, and visit the Galle Fort, or the Dutch Fort—a key architectural and historical landmark, built during the Portuguese reign, and modified during the Dutch reign. Visit the Turtle Hatchery, established to support the breeding of endangered sea turtles. After a tiring day of travelling and sightseeing, relax on the breezy shore of the beach while you absorb the warmth and serenity of the calm sea, and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8 – Travel to | Bentota (14km)

the golden beach of Bentota, after breakfast. Bentota—the second most popular beach in Sri Lanka among tourists, offers fish therapy, and a range of water sporting activities for all adventure enthusiasts, like windsurfing, sailing, water skiing, including diving, snorkelling and much more. Sit back and relax beneath the swaying coconut palms as you sip on the soothing, sweet nectar of king coconut, or dive into the fun and adventure of Bentota. Day 9 – Travel to | Colombo (81km)

Following breakfast, depart from Bentota to Colombo—the commercial capital and the largest city of Sri-Lanka. The bustling city of Colombo consists of various tourist landmarks including historical sites that serve as the ideal finish to your journey. The Colombo Fort, Pettah, Floating Market, Galle Face Promenade, Independence Memorial Hall, Arcade Independence Square, Good Market and the Old Parliament Building, are a minuscule of the numerous key sites of Colombo.

You will have a city tour of Colombo and be able to explore and go for a shopping in shopping malls with a variety of branded clothes, and souvenirs you can take back home.

After a tiring day of shopping and sightseeing, transfer to your hotel for your overnight stay.
